Last updated: 4 October 2026. This notice explains how Octa Tech handles information submitted through octatech.net and technical information generated when the website is used.
Who we are
Octa Tech operates octatech.net. For privacy questions or requests, contact info@octatech.net.
Information we collect
When you send a project enquiry, we receive the details you enter, including your name, business email, area of interest and project overview; a phone number is optional. A consultation request also asks for a phone number and your preferred date and time. Please avoid including sensitive personal information that is not needed to explain your request.
The website and its hosting or security systems may also process technical information such as your IP address, browser details, the pages requested and the time of access to operate and protect the website.
How we use your information
We use enquiry details to review your request, contact you, discuss a project and arrange a consultation where requested. Form submissions are sent to info@octatech.net. A preferred consultation time is a request; an appointment is confirmed separately. We also use technical information to maintain and secure the website. We do not use enquiry details for unrelated advertising or profiling.
Who receives your information
We do not sell personal information or share enquiry details with business, technology or marketing partners for their own use. Access is limited to authorized Octa Tech personnel and the technical service providers needed to host and secure the website or deliver email. These providers process information to provide those services, rather than as recipients of our enquiries for independent business use.
How long we keep enquiries
We keep enquiry emails and related correspondence for up to 12 months after our last substantive contact about the request, then delete or anonymize them. If an enquiry becomes an active project, or a longer period is required by law or to resolve a dispute, the relevant records may be kept for that applicable purpose and period. Technical logs are retained only for operational and security needs under the applicable service arrangements.
Cookies and external content
The website and its software may use cookies or similar browser storage for essential functions, security and performance. You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings, although some site functions may then work differently. If a page includes content from another website, that provider may receive technical information and apply its own privacy practices.
Processing location and safeguards
Website hosting and email services may process information outside the country from which you visit. We limit access to people and providers who need it for the purposes described above and use reasonable measures to protect the information.
Your requests
You may email info@octatech.net to ask what information you submitted through the website, request a correction or deletion, or raise a privacy concern. We may need to confirm your identity before acting and may retain information where a legal obligation or legitimate dispute requires it.
Changes to this notice
We may update this notice when our forms, services or data practices change. The date at the top shows the latest update.
